Prof. Bo Wang

Professor Wang Bo obtained a Master's degree in Electronic Engineering from Xidian University in 1986 and a doctorate degree in physical engineering from the University of Tsukuba in Japan in 1995. He is a national talent. 


Prof. Wang mainly engaged in research in the field of industrial non-destructive testing, his scientific research team is in an international leading position in the research of "cold cathode ray testing" and "laser ultrasonic non-destructive testing". He leaded foreign scientific research projects such as "Development of steel bridge deterioration diagnosis equipment based on laser ultrasonic visual inspection technology", "development of self-propelled small X-ray inspection equipment for high-voltage transmission lines", "practical development of laser ultrasonic visual inspection equipment for on-site use",  ''the practical development of portable 3D representation X-ray photography equipment'', with a total funding of 920 million yen, in the subject of "Laser ultrasonic visual detector", "Laser ultrasonic visual inspection system development", "Laser ultrasonic visual non-destructive testing platform", etc. 


He holds two international invention patents in the field of non-destructive testing, one European invention patent, two American invention patents, four Japanese invention patents, and five Chinese (including Hong Kong) invention patents. Published ten papers in domestic and foreign journals.
